Mei Yen Chua started Swallow Books in late 2007. She is proud to have been the publisher of Brisbane's independent cheap eats guide,
Brisbane's Budget Bites. The food guide ran for four years and in that time
Brisbane's Budget Bites gained a loyal following with intrepid foodies and adventurous home cooks in South East Queensland. Since moving interstate, Mei Yen has given up eating for a living and now provides freelance services such as back-of-book, embedded XML indexing, database, annual reports indexing, proofreading, editing and feature writing.To date she has indexed over 95 trade, educational, academic and niche publications.
